Again, I'm horrible with updates. School is going great, I'm at the downhill of Term 2, so things are a bit calm for now. I got 3 more weeks to go till winter break. I've been working on my 2D Game project and have finally reached to the point that I can't really add any more art assets to it, which is good cause I'm worn out on doing that. Just got to work on the poster and Dvd box cover. It's a really cool accomplishment, seeing it all in the game gives a lot of appreciation in what I can do. Oh, for whoever reads this, we are to create a 2d game that must have 1 minute of gameplay per level designer. We got 3 level designers in the end so we got 3 levels to create. I'm the artist on the team so I create what you see. It's different from each team but I created everything other than one art asset that one of our level designer created. It's an awesome feel to creating this game, I learned tons. Got to find out what makes certain things in making art crucial that I had never placed into affect in just normal art. What I learned too is that no matter how good or bad your art looks, gameplay is where it matters hands-down.

In another note, I'm learning a bit more on my taste of music. My taste on things is much more difficult to figure out cause I don't follow the norm nor do I follow just one type of music. One thing I like about a band or artist is his/her's music range. Having to make songs that could be rock, pop, blues, etc. etc. having to see that artist(s) singing and music style carry over different genres is just awesome, plus it usually means they have fun singing.

Another thing that makes it hard for me to pin what I like is liking music for the sound. I can't quite elaborate it well but I know it's not about the words, I'm listening to a lot of music that I don't know the language. I also hear the way they sing, there singing talent, and usually whatever is unique about them. In that includes like an instrument that is not world widely used, always fun (accordion rules!). Because of liking to hear new things, I tend to move around from genre to genre, country to country, and time period to time period.

I guess I say about this is that just about everything I can only say, "I can't put my finger on it." I like an appreciate a lot of things.
